Tears are a natural response to a range of emotions from joy to sadness, anger to frustration. However, tears are not solely confined to their emotional expressions, they also carry symbolic and spiritual connotations.

Humans produces three types of tears:
Basal tears: They help to keep the eyes moist every time a person blinks.
Reflex tears: They are triggered by some irritants like smoke, onion, spray etc.
Emotional tears: When people talk about crying, they are usually referring to emotional tears.
 Here's are some crucial and rare facts that will let you people know why living creatures shed tears:
  1. Tears from the right eye are often associated with happiness, while tears from the left eye are  associated with sadness.
  2. It is believed that crying helps a person to fall asleep more easily.
  3. According to the researchers, emotional tears contain stress hormones, so crying makes a person feel better.
  4. Roman Empire believes that tears are linked to Romantic pleasures, crying made the beloved one desirable to their lover.
  5. At the time of crying, some tears drained down to nasal passage, that cause nose to run.
  6. Tears are made of proteins, salts and hormones.
  7. Tears are a sign of God's mercy and a gift to mankind.
  8. According to Roman mythology, dewdrops are the tears of the Goddess Aurora, who weeps every morning over the death of her son.
  9. The phrase" Crocodile tears" means that a person pretends to be sad, it comes from a tale about crocodiles who killed a group of men and then cried while feasting on them.
  10. "Bali" is Known for its tearless funerals. In Bali, funerals are held 2 years after the person is died.
  11. Despite studies showing that tear gas can cause miscarriages, brain damage and respiratory problems, it remain the most popular riot-control tool worldwide.
  12. The scent of a women's tear reduce sexual arousal in men while scent of women's sweat can increase sexual arousal in men.
  13. Tears of men are less likely to spill down their faces because of their larger tear ducts.
  14. When a women cries, it lasts for six months but man's crying session lasts for around 4 minutes.
  15. In many cultures, left eye is sometimes associated as "Evil Eye" or the "Eye of devil".

 History of dreams:

If we look back into the history, we might see that different cultures had different ideas and philosophies about dreams while researches has given us some eye opening information about dreams.

Let's explore the historical depth of dreams!

Many years ago, people of ancient Greek and Rome thought that dreams were source of messages from God, dead or a loved ones. They believed that their dreams predict the future. Even they built special and spiritual places where they took a nap in a hope of getting messages from their worth-worship ones.
                                                            
 
Later, Aristotle the famous philosopher thought dreams were just your body's way of working through things, like when you got sick. In places like Egypt and China, priests interpreted dreams, thinking they were special and consider dreams in the sense of clues about a person's life.


In middle ages, dreams were seen as a bad, like devil try to distract person's mind or soul through negative messages. Then in the 19th century, scientist named as Sigmund Freud, thought dreams could tell us things about mind or emotions.

Facts that will blow up your mind:                                               

  1. Dreams are in picture form with little sound or movements.
  2. Blind people also see dreams, they actually know how pictures and colors look like.
  3. Nightmares occur mostly in the last 3rd of the night.
  4. About 12% of people lack color blindness in dreams, they just dream in black or white.
  5. Your feeling like guilt, shame, hate, love, blame etc will come out in dreams.
  6. Around 95% of dreams are forgotten by time a person gets out of bed.
  7. A person could remember 5% of his/her dream, most probably the percent of dream we remember, they remain in our memory so that we could see them to become true with our eyes.
  8. Mostly dreams are linked with the events or thoughts that recently occurred.
  9. Longer dreams can occur in the morning hours.
  10. We only dream of what or whom we already knows, we would have seen hundreds or thousands of faces in our lives, our brain can utilize these faces during dreams.
  11. Mostly men may dream about aggression or physical activities while the women may dream about fear, relationships and freedom.
  12. Sleep recharges your body and dream recharges your creativity.
  13. Every creature or a specie who have brain could see dream, even animals also dream.
  14. You always wake up after seeing your or others death, because your brain don't know what happens after death.
  15. Men and women, both experiences sexual arousal during dreams but men experiences more than women.
  16. Dreams usually depends upon your gender, cast, religion or sleeping position.      

      Anyways, reality is that dreams are a reflection of our imaginations and emotions, they may not come true in literal sense!

Spicy facts about Antarctica- the confusing continent

 How did continents formed?

4.5 Billion years ago, continents of Earth were once joined together in the form of a supercontinent named as Pangea. Movements of plates or plate tectonics causes the supercontinent to partitioned into 7 continents on the basis of water part between the two blocks of land mass but there is an exception of Europe and Asia, there is no water part between the Europe and Asia. 


 

How was Antarctica discovered?


Antarctica was discovered later after the rest of continents because it is isolated place which was out of sight of human civilization. It is formed millions of years ago but was discovered on January 1820, it is so mysterious and ancient land that it was once a warm region with a rainforest and civilization which was later transformed into cold dry region covered with a 98% of ice sheet which is 1.0 mile(1.6 km) thick after the Ice age.
Antarctica is the 5th largest continent which is twice the size of Australia, bigger than whole of Europe. It is the driest continent on our planet.

    

Amazing facts about Antarctica:



1- Antarctica doesn't belong to anyone, no single country could own this continent. 

2- There is no government in Antarctica, it is governed by a group of nations.



3- It does not have an official flag of its own.

4-There are no cities on Antarctic continent and have no capital of it.

5- There are 20 airports in Antarctica but not public-access airports and have no landing facilities.



6- Only stations existed there.



7- Antarctica is not a homeland for any human, a person can stay for 3-6 months, although some stays for as long as 15 months in terms of contract.

8- NASA tested robots in Antarctic as the desert condition of it is like the conditions on Mars, these tested robots later landed on Mars.



9- Blood falls is the mysterious Glacier in Antarctic which is notorious for being some kind of tele-portal to some other world, blood falls contains rich amount of Iron when exposed to air it turned into red looks like the blood is coming from the Glacier.



10- Sun rises once in a year because Earth's axis of rotation is tilted with respect to the path of its orbit around sun, for six months in a year sun neither rises over one pole nor sets over other pole that means south pole experiences 6 months of sunrise while the north pole experiences 6 months of sunsets.




11- No reptiles could survive there, it is a continent without reptiles and it is place for worms.



12- There is a diamond dust which is made up of tin flakes of glass and crystal which on reflection gives out an artificial look of glittery dust or diamond dust.



13- It has a buried mountain range known as Gamburtsev Mountain range( Also referred as a Ghost mountain range), which lie buried beneath as much as 3 km of ice. 



14- Antarctica is a good place for building Nuclear power plants but it is illegal although it has enough space and have no risk of life danger in case of accident.
